Beachcomber at Gold Beach Oregon
 The
Inn of the Beachcomber is 47-room hotel located in
Gold Beach,
Oregon. Our two story building
features ocean view and non view rooms. Ocean view rooms have covered balconies
and 6 first floor rooms have a spa tub on the balcony. The Bungalow is a one
story building 20 feet west of the main building, that has 9 rooms with open,
wooden decks. All of the rooms were recently renovated with an Arts and Crafts
decor, featuring Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired design. Tiffany lamps, mission
style furniture, and earth tone colors give each room a feeling of naturalness
and comfort. Guests tell us over and over that our beds are the most
comfortable. Amenities include free movie rental, indoor pool and Jacuzzi, an
on-site wine shop, and we top it all off with a fabulous, free breakfast buffet. Gold Beach
is the county seat for Curry County, and is about four hours from
Eugene, over three from
Medford
and six hours from Portland.
If you combine Gold
Beach’s location with the
fact that the town is surrounded by the ocean and forest lands, there are not a
lot of places to build things here, or too many people. Back when Zane Grey had
his wilderness cabin up the Rogue in the 1920’s that was not that big of a deal.
Today the reality of being in a really beautiful place with good weather most of
the year and not too many people is pretty special.
